• The statistical tables on the selected balance sheet items of banks appearing on the Interactive Weekly Bulletin of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency are drawn up by using the temporary financial statements.

  • The resource of the data in the Interactive Weekly Bulletin is Banking Reporting System extracted via Banks Supervision Reporting Set. Daily and Weekly data reported by banks are used.

  • Although, reasonable audit and control mechanisms are established to ensure correctness of information in the interactive bulletin, BRSA does not guarantee the accuracy and integrity of these financial statements which are based on temporary data, also cannot be held accountable for usesage of these statements that are released solely for information purposes.

  • Data in the Interactive Weekly Bulletin includes both domestic branches and branches abroad of banks.

  • To protect reporting unit's confidentiality, the unconsolidated data received from banks are presented on aggregated basis in accordance with regulations on data confidentiality in official statistics.

  • Some of the data presented in terms of ownership groups will not be published because of the identity privacy of data issuer.

  • Any periodic information in any issue of Interactive Weekly Bulletin can be changed as a result of updating in the forthcoming issues.

  • The BRSA has the right to make any changes partially or completely or to add new data in the statements included in the Interactive Weekly Bulletin without announcing in advance.

  • Information included in the Interactive Weekly Bulletin can be published without permission by giving reference.

  • Changes about the banks’ ownership status are taken into account when published in the Turkish Trade Registry Gazette.

  • To view data in Excel correctly, the thousand seperator should be “.” and the decimal seperator should be “,” in regional settings of the machine on which the application runs.

  • Figures in table may not add up to totals due to rounding.

  • In case the monetary unit is selected as USD, table is derived from each bank's end-of-period exchange rate.

  • As of February 2014, the Birleşik Fon Bankası A.Ş. and Adabank A.Ş. data are not included in the tables.

  • Loans extended to banks by banks are not included in the 'Loans' item. These types of receivables are presented in the “Receivables from Banks” line.In accordance with the Regulation on Uniform Chart of Accounts published in the Official Gazette dated 1/8/2019 and numbered 30849, a change has been made in the item of receivables from banks due to the change in the uniform chart of accounts to be effective as of 1/1/2021.
